Mr. Mark Winkleman, Vice President

Mark Winkleman is the chief operating officer of ML Manager, LLC, a successor to Mortgages Ltd., which has emerged from bankruptcy. He is working to return as much money as possible to the hundreds of investors that were damaged.
A licensed real estate broker and former real estate attorney, Mr. Winkleman founded MGS Realty Partners in 2000 and continues to serve as president. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Winkleman served on the board of the BFA Liquidating Trust, which was responsible for returning approximately $450 million to the investors that suffered losses as a result of the bankruptcy of the Baptist Foundation.
From 2003 until 2009, Mr. Winkleman was the Arizona State Land Commissioner, directing the Arizona State Land Department on the cabinets of Governors Napolitano and Brewer. As Land Commissioner, he was responsible for the management of 9.3 million acres of land that was put into trust at Statehood and is used primarily to generate funds for public education.
Mr. Winkleman earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas and his law degree from the University of Virginia. He was recently recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of the Valley's 25 most admired CEOs.
